Currently sitting third on the ladder behind the Inverell Saints and Gunnedah Bulldogs, the Nomads currently sit just one win clear of the Roos.
The Nomads come into Saturday's clash off the back of a 125-point loss to the Saints, while the Roos have won two games on the trot, both against the Moree Suns.

Nomads coach James Treweeke said the recent university holidays had hurt his side's playing stocks.
"I was pretty happy with where we were heading into the uni holidays, but like in years gone by it hurt us again this year," Treweeke told the One Percenters Podcast.
"However, I'm pretty happy with how we are going at the moment, we have played some good footy and I'm looking forward to the next few weeks."
Treweeke said the coming games would provide his young side "a chance to keep improving".
"I'd have to say young Morgan Dunn has probably been our most improved player this season," he said.
"It's his first year out of the juniors and like a lot of our younger players, they have all got better and better each week.
"Hopefully that will continue over the next few weeks."
The two clubs will also clash in the women's game from 12pm, with the men's game following at 2pm.
In the round's other action, the top-of-the-table Gunnedah Bulldogs will play host to the last-placed Moree Suns.
