The Roos forfeited last season's clash at North Tamworth and Group 4 ruled they had to give up their home game this season against the Bears because of that.
Kangaroo coach Shane Rampling has been juggling teams all season, faced with shift workers and now some injuries on top of losing star lock Kahn Juhnke.
He has named hooker Steve Taylor as a stop -gap replacement at lock for Sunday's clash.
The busy little No.9 has been a great addition to the club and first grade quad this season.

He and Matt Gillham will alternate at nine.
"Steve's been great for us," Rampling said.
"He'll be defending in the middle and can have a dart or two out dummy half too. He's been a good addition to our squad and done a job for us.
"It does make it hard we have Ben (Haire), Nick (Millar) and Willy (Urquhart) out. And it doesn't help our second grade is struggling. They copped a few injuries last week too. Isaac Harris might have to play two full games.
"But it is what it is. We just want to get through this week against Norths. We want to put up a good effort in respect of the score.
"We'll be much better than the 84-nil in the first round. We started all right in that game. Our first 25 minutes was good and we only trailed 10-nil."
He said his side has improved markedly and doesn't want to see them waste what has been a good month or so for them, where they have gone close against the likes of Gunnedah and Kootingal-Moonbi and beaten Dungowan and Narrabri.
They still retain a hope of making the semi-finals.
On Saturday, Werris Creek are at home to Kootingal-Moonbi and Dungowan host Gunnedah.
