Aiming for a top 15 finish in the under-12, under-13 and under-14 grades, Tamworth accomplished its mission.
The under-12 team finished the three-day event in eleventh position, the under-13 team claimed a sixth-place finish and the under-14 team finished fourteenth overall.

Tamworth under-13 coach Megan Cruickshank said the results were "an amazing achievement".
"This year's results were a big improvement on last year and that is down to the hard work all of the girls put in," Cruickshank told the Leader.
"I think everyone of the girls and all of the coaches were really proud of what was achieved during the carnival."
On their way to a sixth-place finish, the under-13 team defeated Cessnock, a side Cruickshank said the team historically had struggled against.
"They [Cessnock] have beaten us pretty comfortably in the past, so it was nice to win that one this year," she said.
"The under-13 girls played so well throughout the carnival and really deserved to finish as highly as they did.
"I was also really impressed by the under-12 team in their first-ever carnival and the under-14 team as well."
Going forward, Cruickshank said the players would now focus their attention on weekly competitions.
"The carnival marks the end of the rep season until trials in November," she said.
