SOME of the region's most passionate riders have benefited from some hands on training courtesy of the Tamworth and District Campdraft Club.
The club opened up its Koobah Performance Horses venue to put the group of riders through their paces.
Riders of all ages saddled up to take part in the event, which saw more than a total of 20 riders take part.
Expert coaches Neil Faint and Ben Rossiter volunteered their time to help lead the session.
All of the riders were members of the ABCRA and tried their hands at a variety of different training drills.
The day paid particular focus to building the riders individual campdrafting skills, as well as testing them with the mechanical cow.
The riders overall horsemanship was also enhanced during the day-long event.
As well as helping to build the group of riders skills, the clinic also helped them prepare for future campdrafting competitions.
The day received a further boost with Rotary operating a canteen for participants and spectators alike. The club has plans to host another session in the near future.
