The NSW government announced on Monday the construction of the accommodation for teachers had been completed.
The new flexible design blocks in Bandulla Street would provide much-needed accommodation for teachers in Coonabarabran and other neighbouring localities such as Baradine, the government reports.

The two blocks are made up of four flexible design units.
Each block can be converted into either a single bedroom and a three-bedroom unit, or two, two-bedroom units.
The housing meant teachers could focus on their professional duties without the distraction of searching for suitable accommodation for themselves and their families, Property NSW portfolio management group executive director Adam Howarth said.
"The government is committed to providing housing for teachers where the private rental market is inadequate or partly inadequate, therefore making it difficult to attract and retain professionals to provide essential services to rural and regional townships," Mr Howarth said.
In 2018, the government completed about $5.5 million worth of housing for teachers in regional towns across western NSW, he said.
Mr Howarth said the construction of the new housing also benefitted local businesses, with local trades and businesses supplying a number of products and services for the project.
Property NSW manages about 1280 teacher residences in rural and remote communities in NSW.
