Oxley Community Transport launched its Connect-A-Ride partnership with icare on Monday.
Icare is the state government agency responsible for workers compensation insurance, icare review officer Jacqueline Scott said.
"We work with people who are severely injured on our roads that end up with a brain or spinal cord injury or in the workplace," Ms Scott said.
"People with disabilities in regional areas often find public transport problematic so that's where we found there was a need to partner with community organisations to help come up with solutions."
The Connect-A-Ride pilot program provides affordable transport options to injured people.
Users will have to download a mobile phone app through Liftango to make a booking, but Oxley Community Transport wants people in need to get in touch as soon as possible.
There's almost 70 people in the region believed to be in need of the door-to-door service.

There was a gap in the market for people with injuries who become isolated from community, Tamworth Regional Council mayor Col Murray said.
"I think the important thing is the with the inclusion of icare and their experience we can gather up some of those unfortunates who have had a major injury," Cr Murray said.
"It allows the system to pick those people up and reintroduce them into society through Oxley Community Transport."
