Playing host to the Moree Suns at Tamworth No.1 Oval, the Roos jumped out to a lighting-fast start, piling on six goals to one in the first term.
Bowen, along with Chris Williams (three goals) and playing coach Tony Bishop (two goals) helped solidify the Roos lead going into the half-time break.

The Suns tried valiantly to stay in the contest, but a return of two goals, eight behinds in the second term, quashed any hopes of a comeback.
From there, the Roos piled on six goals in the third quarter and four in the last to run out 21-15-141 to 9-13-67 winners.
Zak Bozanich with three goals was named the Suns best, while Jeremy Nash (two goals) also impressed.
James Vallender was best on ground for the Roos, while Luke Robinson and Raymond Nixon (two goals) also starred in the victory.
In the round's other action, the Inverell Saints sent a strong message to the rest of the competition with a 25-20-170 to 6-2-38 win over the Tamworth Swans at Varley Oval.
Meanwhile, the Gunnedah Bulldogs kept their winning streak going with a 16-19-115 to 11-12-78 victory over the New England Nomads.
