The Shane Edmonds-trained gelding, an eight-year-old son of Barely A Moment, has drawn barrier 13 in the $30,000 Shay Brennan Showcase Open Handicap (1200m).
He also has 64kg but with young apprentice Mollie Partridge on board and claiming 1.5kg.
Brotherly Secret has won 10 of his 50 starts and $277,125 in prize money for his owners, KC Edmonds (Shane's son) and Inverell father and son Paul and Matt Ehsman.

The gelding, who won the 2018 Spring Cup at Tamworth, is unbeaten at Tamworth - having had two starts at the track.
Despite the big weight, he will start on Friday because of the good surface.
"[It] depends on what he does at Tamworth but if he runs all right we'll head north with him," Edmonds said.
"If he runs well we'll head to the Mackay Newmarket, then the Townsville and Cairns Newmarkets as well.
"They have a $100,000 bonus up there for the winner of all three."
Brotherly Secret hasn't raced since April, when he was beaten just over 14 lengths in a listed race at Doomben.
"I made a real bad mistake," Edmonds said.
"[I] never should have run him on that track.
"He's had 14 starts on wet tracks, including soft, and won zero."
Edmonds has engaged Mollie Partridge to ride on Friday and hopes she has as much affinity with the horse as has Louise Day.
