The five-year-old gelding, trained by Garah's Campbell Roberts and ridden by Brent Evans, beat Mallawa Picnic Cup winner Oh Why by one and a half lengths to claim the 1400m B&W Rural Warren and Ruth Hunter Memorial Talmoi Cup at the 2019 Talmoi Picnic Races.

The Peter Sinclair-trained Happens Nomore came in third place, while its stablemate, champion picknicker and Boolooroo Cup winner Track Flash finished more than three lengths behind Only Choice, in fourth and last place.

Earlier this year, Only Choice won the Picnic Class 3 Trophy at Mallawa and came second in the 950m Moree Bracelet, behind Free Billy, trained by Sinclair and owned by Moree's Bryans family.

Free Billy meanwhile continues its top form after taking out the 1000m Chesterfield Helen Boland Memorial Bracelet on Saturday, one and a half lengths ahead of Folkstone, with Beau In Chains, trained by fellow Moree trainer Doug Fernando, coming in third.

Sinclair's I Am Dynamic placed fourth in the same race, ahead of Gilded Spirit, trained by his son Nathan.

The Moree trainer also had success in the 1200m Picnic Class 1 Trophy, with Brooklyn Beach and Master Cramsie finishing in the top two spots, while One Sock placed fifth.

Nazare, which finished first in the 1200m Picnic Maiden Plate ahead of Skill Set and Uncle Jim, rounded out Sinclair's three wins on the day. The success earned Sinclair the Talmoi Picnic Races trainer's bonus.

This year the Talmoi Picnic Race Club received 31 acceptances for the six race meeting, two up on last year.

Saturday's meeting was also the biggest Talmoi Picnic Races yet, with a record crowd of 1400 people flocking to Garah racecourse to enjoy a top day of picnic racing.

"It was massive, it was a great day, absolutely fantastic," Talmoic Picnic Race Club president Justin Ramsay said.

"Hopefully everyone enjoyed our little race day."
