Kootingal, Tamworth City and Manilla Bowling Clubs hosted the latest round of competition, which acted as a qualifier for the Zone 3 pairs championships in July.
The hometown duo of George Hemming and Zack Curtis moved through to the next stage of the Zone's state pairs competition alongside Narrabri's Sam Prior, while Quirindi's Scotty Ryman and Jason Heaver took out the president's reserve competition in Manilla.

Meanwhile, West Tamworth's Colin Horne and Ron Barnett proved too good for Kim Greentree and Steve Graham in the final of the seniors pairs competition at Tamworth City.
The winning duo were made to work for their triumph, surviving an extra end at the completion of their first game, before going onto win the tournament.
Zone 3 president Ian Bannister told the Leader the weekend-long competitions were "highly competitive".
"All three tournaments were open to all players in the Zone and we were really pleased with the amount of players we had participate," Bannister.
"Pretty much all three competitions were pretty tight with wins reasonably difficult to come by.
"In fact, the numbers were so good up at Kootingal we weren't able to finish inside of the two days so we will have to play the finals of the tournament on another day."
Bannister said it was likely the state pairs competition would be complete at the Kootingal Bowling Club.
"That is up to the Zone match committee president, but I would say it's pretty likely it will be played at Kootingal," he said.
"After that we should have a pretty good idea of who will be playing off for semi final and finals berths at the Zone pairs championships in Armidale."
- The Zone 3 pairs championships will be in Armidale from July 6 to 7.
