Reusing waste water
I would just like to say that I would not like to drink wastewater. A few years back a family member of mine had bladder cancer. They were receiving a drug directly into their bladder. We needed to use a strong cleaner after they used the toilet and nobody was to use it for 20 minutes to make sure it was neutralized after their use.

They can test for hard drugs that go into the sewer and tell which part of Tamworth city they come from. So no I do not want to drink it.
For gardens yes. Council needs to make sure that with all the building going on that there is enough water to cover these new homes. Promoting rainwater tanks with pumps that are installed by plumbers for established homes and that are affordable for families is a good idea.

Cartoon offends
I refer to the cartoon featured on page 9 NDL 25th June.
I find this so called caricature of Jesus allegedly swearing, to be very offensive, and no; I don't need anyone to explain what it all means, that's obvious.
Why is it that the Christian religion is always the one to be insulted and disrespected by cartoonists and so called comedians for just a cheap laugh, without showing the slightest concern for those who take their faith very seriously.
Here's an idea for Mr Pope, why don't you produce a cartoon next week making fun of the Gay and Lesbian community, or another idea, you could draw a caricature of some Islamic figure, and make fun of that particular religion.
Of course you wouldn't dare in either case, would you, it just wouldn't be worth it.

Give to people in need
With just days until the end of financial year, Vinnies is only halfway towards its Winter Appeal fundraising goal.
We are urgently calling for donations to support our work with people experiencing poverty, homelessness and disadvantage.
