After getting back in the winner's circle with a 4-2 win over Olympians last round, they withstood a late fightback from South United to claim the points 4-3 in their Tamworth women's first grade match-up.
Waratahs captain Katrina Rekunow thought they "played pretty well" and felt like they had the ascendancy more than the scoreline probably suggests.
"We had a lot of possession," she said.
"The midfield was pretty good at controlling the game and our attack was pretty good."
"One of our faults were, we had good passages of play when we kept it short, but then we starting hitting out a bit long."
They also probably should have scored more goals, that finishing touch not quite there.
Rekunow said Anita Collins played well for them. Abby Schimann was also good in attack.
For Rekunow the win followed the news mid-week that she had been selected in the NSW Country women's side for the third time. After earlier in the season touring New Zealand with the Australian Country side, Rekunow will, along with Olympians' Emily Chaffey, play at the Australian Country Championships at Shepparton in August.

In the round's other game, Flames came out firing against Tudor Wests. They scored twice in the first 10 minutes en route to a 5-nil half-time lead and eventual 6-nil victory.
"We had a very strong first half," Flames coach Barrie Pritchard said.
"We started with some of our more experienced girls up front in Ash Allen, Naomi Spark and Julie Rodda."
"That caused them (Tudors) a lot of difficulties."
He said it also opened up the midfield a bit for Kim Resch because the defence had to concentrate on the trio.
They didn't quite kick on in the second half as he would have expected, Spark scoring the only goal of the half. Tudors to their credit did put together a better second half, he said.
"It was a good effort from us, especially defensively to hold them out," Pritchard said.
He said the back four were good for them, but did single out Bek May.
"She had a very strong game and shut down a lot of their attack," he said.
