The new Jewry Street bridge is now open for one lane of traffic travelling from Peel Street to Taminda.
While traffic travelling from Taminda towards Peel Street can use one lane of the pre-existing bridge.

Construction work on the upgrade to the Peel Street intersection is ahead of schedule, according to Tamworth Regional Council and is expected to be complete with new traffic lights in July.
Drivers are asked to take extra care, obey traffic controllers and roadwork signage.
These temporary changes came into effect after 11pm on Friday night once line-marking work was completed.
The temporary roundabout at the adjacent Peel Street intersection remains in place.
