Inverell police were called to four separate incidents before 11am yesterday, including reports of a male armed with a knife in Oak Place.

Shortly before 10.30am a 16-year-old local boy was taken into custody by police and a large carving knife was seized.
After being conveyed back to the station, the youth was charged with armed with intent to commit indictable offence and was refused bail.

Prior to that, at around 7.15am police were called to a domestic dispute in Ashford.
Officers arrested a 31-year-old female after she allegedly assaulted a 12-year-old and 48-year-old.
Then, a 15-year-old Tingha male was arrested by police around 8.30am at a Sapphire Street address.
Relating to a previous incident the day prior (Wednesday), the young person had fled from police.
The youth was charged with breach of bail, two counts of malicious damage and two counts of contravene AVO.
He was remanded in custody by Inverell Children's Court until June 20.
At around 9.30am, Inverell police attended a Moore Street address in search of a male wanted in relation to a revocation of parole warrant.
Sighted at the address, police were able to gain entry into the house and arrested the 36-year-old by virtue of the warrant.
A number of items were also located in a backpack belonging to him, according to police reports.
The man was conveyed to Inverell Police Station and, in addition to the warrant being executed, he was charged with possessing housebreaking implements and two counts of possess prohibited drugs.
He will appear before Inverell Local Court today.
At the same address a 21-year-old male was arrested wanted by police on domestic violence-related warrants.
The warrants related to an assaulted and intimidation that occurred in Inverell on May 25. He was charged and remanded in custody by Inverell Local Court until August.
