The public school's 16 students, and the 11 families they're from, spent the day with members of Country Women's Association (CWA) and Centacare New England.
It was all to rustle up donations and to show support for local farming families.
Rural life was at the heart of the day: the students asked about farm life in a Q&A with CWA members; built scarecrows; decorate and planted herb pots; enjoyed a sausage sizzle and coloured in.

The students and staff donated six bags of groceries for the Doing it for Farmers pantry, and raised more than $200 for Rural Aid.
Principal Krystal Magann said it was a "fun, busy, engaging day" and "everyone took part, in the spirit of supporting the farmers."
