A teenager has been charged over multiple break and enter offences.
Police from Oxley Target Action Group are investigating multiple break and enters in the Tamworth area as part of Operation Southbreak, which occurred between March 29 and April 12 this year.
Following inquiries, a 15-year-old boy attended Grafton Police Station on Thursday where he was arrested by officers attached to Oxley Target Action Group.
He was charged with seven counts of break, enter and steal, and four counts of break, enter with intent.
He was refused bail to appear at a children's court on Tuesday, July 9.
The boy's arrest follows last month's arrest and charging of a Tamworth male with 38 break and enter offences - also under Operation Southbreak.
Operation Southbreak has been underway since 2018 and will continue to investigate incidents of theft in the Tamworth area.
Investigators encourage anyone with information to contact Tamworth Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
