South Armidale received the award due to their "significant contribution to their local community", NNSWF annoucned in a press release.
NNSWF said this year the club provided an opportunity to engage with the local refugee group who were recently settled in Armidale.
It has worked selflessly to accommodate the players by reducing registration fees, obtaining some funding and receiving discounted boots and shin pads for the players, the organisation said.
