Tamworth, Kootingal and Moonbi are all on level 4 restrictions, with Chaffey Dam sitting at 24.4 per cent. Once it drops below 20 per cent, that'll be upgraded to level 5.

Both Armidale and Guyra are on level 4 restrictions, with the latter's weir expected to run out of water in about 100 days.
Murrurundi is on unprecedented level 6 restrictions. The town ran out of water months ago, and has been carting it in since the start of the year.
Tenterfield is also in a dire situation, with the council creating a new water restriction level (4.5) to buy it more time to come up with a solution. The nearby Jennings is on "extreme water restrictions".

Glen Innes has ceased pumping from the Beardy Waters Weir and is on level 1 restrictions. Bundarra is also on level 1.
There are a handful of towns in Liverpool Plains Shire Council on level 1 restrictions, including Werris Creek, Wallabadah and Premer.
