And, the cooler weather suits Jurd just fine.
"I love the Tamworth Country Music Festival, but the heat is so intense for me because I love the cold, so playing there in July is something I am really excited about," he said.
"With three gigs on over the weekend in both Tamworth and neighbouring Manilla, we would love to see the music lovers leave their heaters and fires and enjoy the music across the city and beyond.

It's been a huge start to the year for the Lake Macquarie singer who's song Set Me On Fire hit the top 5 in the charts.

His second single Hard To Breathe made the top 20, and the band is set to head to Bluewater Country Music Festival after it stops off in Tamworth.
"I'm looking forward to hitting the road with my band and performing to new audiences this year," Jurd said.
