Whether it be in films such as the live-action The Lion King or the animated Sing, TV talent quests such as The Voice or even video games such as Guitar Hero, his songs just keep popping up.
And Tamworth Legacy is hoping that will draw a good crowd to the Forum 6 Cinemas on Thursday, May 30, to raise funds for war widows and their dependents.
Branch president Greg Roese said the yearly film nights were "a good way of raising funds and an enjoyable evening for those people able to attend".

"We get quite a range of age groups and people attending, which is great," Mr Roese said.
"We thought [Rocketman] would be popular and certainly Elton's music is across the ages, so we're hoping it will be a well-attended event."
He said the branch thanked local people for their support.
"The funds raised go across the various welfare activities and provisions we have for our widows and dependents - and, of course, we don't get government funding, so we do rely heavily on local community to provide the support."
Bookings would be appreciated by Tuesday night and tickets are $15.
They are available from the Tamworth Legacy office above FSW Shoes at the corner of Peel and White streets (cash only), or you can make a direct deposit to Tamworth Legacy and pick them up at the cinema on the night.
The branch bank details are: Tamworth Legacy, BSB 032621, account number 568113. Use the reference "movie" and your surname.
The film night will start at 7pm on Thursday.
