The climate prompted the event and the weather wasn't kind to it - but "a lot of brave people" turned out for Doing it for our Farmers' family fun day.

On a day that barely scraped by 15 degrees, Paceway Tamworth was the place to be on Saturday to support people, particularly women, hit by drought.
Hot coffee, pumpkin soup, sausage sandwiches and nachos went down a treat, as did the family activities.
Doing it for our Farmers co-ordinator Sue-Ellen Wilkin said the event goers, stallholders and volunteers "had a wonderful day, absolutely wonderful" even though "the weather turned it on to be the coldest day all year".

The morning out featured live music, hot food, market stalls, a ute show, free kids' activities, a vintage fire engine display, martial arts demonstration and horse events.
"The highlight of my event was the senior drivers in the feature race, the mini trotters: I don't think I've seen anyone laugh or smile so much in a long time," Mrs Wilkin said.
The fundraiser's proceeds, which are still being tallied, will go into supporting and spoiling women on the land.
This would include providing food through the group's free food pantry, "paying few light bills - not big ones, we can't afford that ... vouchers for hairdressing and pampering; all the things they can't afford to do, meanwhile helping local businesses".
"Hopefully, just hopefully, we can boost them up a little bit," Mrs Wilkin said.
