Sportsmans Warehouse team member Alix Sills said Robert was one of the awards most deserving recipients.
"Bob is highly involved in local sport in a number of ways," Sills said.
"Sadly this will be the last award I am presenting but since I started I knew I would give my last one to Bob. He is one of the most deserving recipients yet."
Sills said Barber was a beloved figure in the Tamworth sporting community.
"He is still very active within the local sport while other people many different avenues in retirement," she said.
"Bob will unashamedly state his biggest attribute is his wife Fay, who has always supported him in his endeavours."
