The free event will be held on Monday, May 6, at Tamworth Town Hall from 5.30pm.
Incumbent New England MP Barnaby Joyce has been criticised for avoiding public debates, during both the 2017 by-election and the current campaign trail.
Earlier this week it was revealed Mr Joyce pulled out of a forum focused on women's issues to instead attend networking night hosted by the Liverpool Plains Business Chamber where he would be the guest speaker.
However, Tamworth chamber president Jye Segboer said he expects Mr Joyce and all the other candidates to be at the Town Hall come Monday night.

"The business and wider community have the capacity to influence in the outcomes for our region by coming together and asking the tough questions of those who seek to represent us," Mr Segboer said.
"If we want to see Tamworth and the surrounding district continue to grow, we need to understand who has the best interests of our community in mind; who best understands the issues we face in regional Australia; who will advocate strongly on our behalf, and what policies underpin their position."
Mr Segboer encouraged people to register their attendance via the chamber's website. Candidate questions can also be lodged while registering for seats at tamworth.org.au.
