What do you do for a living?
Ordained minister, volunteer advocacy and support.
How long have you lived in the New England electorate?
13 months. I was a multi-generational Goulburn girl.
What is the best part of living in the New England electorate?
A beautiful part of country, with a diverse vibrant culture and unique attractions. Amazing community-focused people with true country town values and hospitality.
Why are you running for the federal seat of New England?
I am dissatisfied with the genuine needs of people including country people being overlooked for big city agendas and short-term popular fixes being put forward rather than long-term vision being focused on. We need to focus on prevention as well as treatment. While we focus only on treatment the problems will not go away.
Why are you qualified to be the elected member for New England?
I am a person of integrity, with experience in the areas of social justice and welfare, tourism and the environment. I understand the need for change based on sound research.
In your opinion, what are the most pressing issues facing the New England electorate?
Equal access to local specialist health services. Social justice and welfare issues, crisis support, child protection, support for families and teachers.
What is your message to the voters?
