Lands Building Open Day
Get a first look inside one of Tamworth's oldest Victorian-era buildings on Fitzroy Street when the Lands building is open for one day only this April. The former Crown Land's office on Fitzroy Street was recently taken over by Tamworth Regional Council and will be open for the public to explore during the Heritage Festival. Completed in October 1900, the building cost 5,000 and was designed by architect Warren Vernon.

Stories from Brisbane Street Heritage Walk
Travel back in time with the Tamworth Historical Society to Brisbane Street between Calrossy Anglican School and the Peel River Bridge, including a stop off at Railway Park from some morning tea.

Wombramurra Homestead Gardens Open Day
Come along to historic Wombramurra Homestead's Open Garden, as previously featured in Country Style and New England Living magazines. Established in the early 1900's, the garden houses a variety of Australian homestead garden plants and trees, with some over one hundred years old.
- When: Saturday and Sunday - 10am - 4pm
- (3:30pm is a guided tour of the gardens and museum plus afternoon tea)

The Spread Eagle Hotel
Explore this magnificent building, built in the 1860's and currently undergoing restoration. Learn about the original building from local Geoff Cummins, before co-owner Ian Dobbin discusses the restoration process.
