The nine race meeting gets underway at 1.30pm and will be the first official meeting the club has staged since November last year when Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) suspended racing and trialling at the track.
Club president Robert Munn is understandably looking forward to getting back racing after what has been a protracted process.
Following renovations, carried out by GRNSW, the club was given the green light to host a trial meeting on March 16, but that was pushed back a week after the track was deemed unfit for racing.
After successfully hosting a trial meeting on March 23, they were then scheduled to host a non-TAB meeting on March 30, but were forced to cancel it after over 40mls of rain fell.
Munn said the fields for Saturday are "not too bad".
Seven of the nine races will jump with full fields of six.
One of the conditions placed on them by the governing body is that they are allowed a maximum of six dogs a race.
As per GRNSW stipulations dogs also have to trial at the track before they can race. Hence they have been running trials every Tuesday and Sunday for the last month.
Saturday's meeting is the first of five in as many weeks the club have been allocated.
