Here at the Leader, we've compiled a list of places that are open and those with two-up after the numerous Anzac Day services on in Tamworth.
At the Courthouse Hotel, owner Fraser Haughton is geared up for one of the pub's biggest days of the year.
"We'll have a big two-up ring at The Courthouse, we've always done that and we've made a point of having as big as possible an outdoor ring in the carpark," he said.
"To be perfectly honest it's one of the best days of the year from a pub perspective, it's a terrific atmosphere on Anzac Day where everyone can have a few drinks in the right spirit.
"I think RSL clubs have a special part to play in the day absolutely, I think it's a personal preference of whether people go to a pub or a club."
It's the one day a year where pub-goers can play the traditional game of two-up before the sun goes down.
Over at the Tamworth Hotel, owner Luke Prout has enlisted "colourful AFL identity" Zeb Taylor to kick off the toss in two-up.
"We really like to encourage families to come and enjoy themselves, we'll have two-up from 1pm and a barbecue with smoked meats on the day," he said.
"It tends to be a lot of families and nobody takes it too seriously so the day should be relaxing and fun."
