Q and A with Doug Meagher
NDL: As a team, what key areas do you want to improve upon from 2018/Who has been your most improved player?
DM: Seeing as I have only been involved for a few weeks, so it's a bit hard to say who our most improved player is or who our players to watch this season will be.
NDL: What will be your team's strengths this season?
DM: I think our strength this season will be our pace, we are focusing on our running a lot at the minute and we have plenty of younger, quick guys that we can build that game plan around.
NDL: Who is the team to beat in 2019 and why?
DM: From what I saw at the Crossroads Cup, keeping in mind I only took over as coach on the Tuesday beforehand, I would say the Tamworth Swans are probably up there as the team to beat maybe along with the Nomads.
