Event co-ordinator Brock Sampson said the four-day long event was of "top quality".
"It was good to see such a tight competition right throughout the event," Sampson said.
"For example, Logan Toms was leading heading into Sunday's competition and eventually finished third by two strokes.
"It was a fantastic competition from that perspective."
Sampson said the region's recent rain had helped keep the Tamworth course in 'pristine condition'.
"Our numbers were up from previous years and it was pleasing to see people travel from all around to play," he said.
"We had 150 competitors on the Friday and about 100 on the Saturday, which was really pleasing.
"Hopefully next year will be just as good."
