The Hero Day saw kids get dressed up as their favourite superheroes for action-packed fun.
With activities, games, good fun and face paint there was plenty to keep the little heroes entertained on Wednesday while they learned a bit more about how their parents have to save the day at work.
JobLink Plus executive manager Emily Roy said the day was a huge success.
"The outcomes we were going for were happy kids and happy parents and we achieved both of those things," she said.
"To quote some young kids, 'this is not boring at all', which is always a plus.
"The most popular activity was the science experience and certainly the messiest and therefore the most fun with cupcake decorations coming in second.
"We did a scavenger hunt where they had to talk to different staff members and learn to do different tasks like use the photocopier or send and email and ask about what their plans for the future were as well.
"There was a strong theme about the value of work and workplaces not just being child friendly but child welcoming."
