But the Tamworth Regional Youth Council pulled together another well-attended event on Tuesday, hosting its inaugural silent disco.
The event marked the national celebration of youth week, an annual occasion giving young people a platform to have their voices heard on issues.
The Tamworth silent disco on Firtzroy Street was a sight to behold as a few brave souls donned the headphones and danced like no one was watching.

The theme for this year's youth week is 'come together, speak out, share and celebrate' and while there was some hesitation to get together on the silent dance-floor, mental health has been a recurring issue at the youth council's events.
The event was well-attended by a range of local service including headspace, Youth Insearch, Youth Frontiers and the Tamworth Family Support Service.
Tamworth youth councillor, Josh Turner, said the event aimed to bring people together and highlight the help available.
While the McCarthy student said Tamworth had a lot on offer, he believed there was still something missing. "There could be more," he said. "Just safe space where we could come and chill, even if it's a like a graffiti wall or something."
