The do-good-duo have raised $500 to buy kitchenware and appliances for homeless people to take with them when they are placed in social housing.
"I was speaking to Tamworth Family Support Service (TFSS) about what sort of things they need, they have enough swags at the moment but they struggle with a lot of people who lounge surf at friends' places," Mr Burrows said.
"I think there's a lot of people who sleep rough especially young people who struggle if they fall out with their parents or something.
"These people love it when they get something new because it's theirs and often they have nothing."
The friends started doing good deeds a couple of weeks ago and aim to do one good thing a week for someone else.
Mr Hemmings and Mr Burrows raised the funds with Anytime Fitness and Tamworth Fire and Rescue NSW.

With the money the pair bought 10 kettles, 10 toasters, electric fry pans and plates for homeless people to get back on their feet.
It's one of the bigger donations TFSS has received and Mr Burrows said he's noticed the impact the good deeds have had on Mr Hemmings.
"A lot of people down the street stop Aaron to tell us we're doing a good job," he said.
"But we can't do it all so we hope other people can get involved and start paying it forward."
