The youth council has organised a silent disco for Tuesday evening on the plaza with the hope it'll spark some community spirit during the national celebration of youth week.
"Our aim is to bring our young community together for the purpose of having a good time and to promote an environment where we can all feel safe, supported and empowered," youth council representative Josh Turner said.

"What better way to do this than to dance around care-free with a bunch of your best mates."
The silent DJ will be accompanied by a "speak out" photo-booth, art tent, dessert bar, BBQ, karaoke, cupcake decorating and street games.
A silent disco runs much like an ordinary dance party except tunes are pumped through wireless headphones doled-out to the groovers rather than a PA system.
Buses will be running from Barraba, Manilla, Nundle, Woolomin and the Youth Centre to provide safe and guaranteed access to the event.
"We understand that a large proportion of the young population in the region don't live close by and we didn't wait their location to stop them from being able to come," Josh said
Tamworth Regional Council youth services team leader Kate Allwell said the group was building on its track record of delivering high quality events. "The silent disco is another example of their determination to make a positive impact within Tamworth's young community," Ms Allwell said.
The event kicks off at 3pm.
