Either way, the Country Capital Cook-off could be just to your taste - and it's on in Tamworth this weekend.
Hosted by Tamworth BBQ Man Peter Bukowski at The Welder's Dog in Dowe Street, the event will have Australia's best barbecue cooks - ableit perhaps self-proclaimed - chasing points in a cooking contest.
It will be a gold-coin entry for spectators, and those takings will go to the steak winner's charity of choice.
It's part of Destination Tamworth Taste Festival 2019.
