Q and A with Paul Kelly
NDL: As a team, what key areas do you want to improve upon from 2018?
PK: Our skills and our knowledge of the game - and we've just about done that. Training last night was really good. The enthusiasm and everyone's not stuffing around all the time. They're concentrating when they need to.
NDL: Who has been your most improved player over the pre-season?
PK: There hasn't been one standout. Everyone has put the effort in.
NDL: What will be your team's strengths this season?
PK: Speed, I think. I think that will be one of our key strengths now that we're a lot more knowledgeable as well.
NDL: Who is the team to beat in 2019 and why?
PK: I haven't seen Inverell but I'm guessing Inverell will be one of the strongest going off last year. From the ones I've seen, Gunnedah, probably. Their experience and they've got some good footballers there.
