With the Rams trailing the Brumbies by five, and the seconds ticking down, Gee crossed in the corner after some good charges from the forwards up the middle, to draw them level at 24-all.
That was how the game finished up with the Rams missing the tough sideline conversion.
Not immune to producing some last minute heroics, Rams skipper Will Robinson conceded they were probably a bit lucky to sneak away with a draw.
"It was a tough game and Scone were probably really the better team," he said.
He said they held possession pretty well in the first 10/15 minutes, but only had the one try to show for it.

"We were just never on the front foot, we were behind for the whole game," Robinson said.
The Rams were quite light-on in the backs, to the extent that new recruit Thabiso Msiza had to play in the centres.

His efforts saw him awarded the zone three best and fairest points, breakaway Sean Latham earning the one.
Latham also picked the club two points behind backrow partner Rowan McGowan, and the players' player.
Robinson said the game highlighted that they need more match fitness and more time together, with a lot of new faces this season.
"A lot of us haven't played as a team too much," he said.
