That's why it was such a surprise to see figures which suggest that online sales account for just nine per cent of sales, according to NSW Business Chamber regional manager Joe Townsend.
It's bricks and mortar that matter, apparently.
I know I'm one of those shoppers who prefers a more tactile approach.
I like to see the goods before I buy them, make sure I get the right size. I guess that says more about the fact that I don't like to muck around when it comes to sending things back if they're not right.
And for that I don't mind spending a little bit more.
