After an initial hit-out as a team in Port Macquarie last month, the women's side were officially patched-in to the club at an event at Wests Diggers on the weekend.
Having their jerseys presented on the same night as the men's senior team, Swans' president Josh McKenzie emphasised the women's team were truly embedded into the club and not merely an adjunct.

The jersey presentation also served as bit of a history lesson for newer players to club with stories shared about the significance of certain shirt numbers and the history they held.
But for the women, it presented a chance to weave their own stories into the numbers and the jerseys.
Jessica Kirkpatrick and Daisy George were named the inaugural Swans' captains on the night.
The women's team will have its second run on the field this weekend as the side travels to Narrabri to take part in the Crossroads Cup.
The Swans will play three games in a round-robin series in what is set to be their first-ever tussle with their AFL North West opponents.
While it is expected to be a truncated affair with 14-a-side 40-minute match-ups, it is seen as a opportunity for the fledgling club to trial a range of different configurations on the field.
The AFL North West men's sides will also travel to Narrabri for the pre-season comp with a $400 prize for the event's winner and $250 on offer for the runner-up.
