The teenager's rehab continues after he suffered severe damage to his spine following a car accident late last year. But Harrison just exudes optimism.
While on a surprise trip to Concord Oval to meet some of his childhood heroes, Harrison spoke of his road to recovery.
"You just, sort of, gotta be positive and work towards getting better - doing everything you can," Harrison told the Wests Tigers media team.
"I'm just trying to stay fit, so, when, like if they do fire back up again or anything like that, like I'm ready to go sort of thing. I just want my legs back."
With the help of Wests Tigers and the Men of League Foundation, Harrison's dad, Phil, managed to pull the wool over his son's eyes to set up the almighty surprise.

"They sort of stitched me up and said I was going to the rugby league museum," Harrison said.
Harrison instead attended a Tigers' training sessions where he met some of his idols, namely Benji Marshall.
"It's been pretty intense - a bit of a surprise - coming out meeting all the boys - Benji and whatnot. All the surprises, it's been really good," Harrison said.
For Phil to see Harrison so happy brought back a flood of memories.
"I still remember him sitting on my knee as a kid watching guys like Skando [John Skandalis], Benji [Marshall], Brett Hodgson - all those guys - run around. And they're still here today and all the new guys which is fantastic," Phil said.
"Just to see the joy on that kid's face, of what you guys have done for him today. Just all the guys coming up to him, saying g'day to him. They've just spoken to him like he's one of them, you could just see the joy on the kid's face."
The day was organised by Wests Tigers and the Men of League Foundation and the Frears were extremely grateful.
"It's fantastic what those guys do," Phil said.
"They give their time for nothing. They're getting out, just putting that little bit of joy and happiness in people's lives and they don't ask for anything in return. They really made his day."
"They've been really good, I've met them a few times since my accident ... they've been really supportive," Harrison added.
