This Saturday's meeting will be the first non-TAB meeting the club has hosted since the track was closed in November last year, when a greyhound had to be put down after that month's meeting.
After the track's closure, Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) carried out upgrade works to allow the track to re-open for a trial meeting.

Tamworth Greyhound Racing Club president Robert Munn told the Leader GRNSW had given the club the green light to host a non-TAB meeting.
"Under their rules, you have to host a trial meeting before a non-TAB meeting after a track closure," Munn said.
"So we were given the go-ahead to host the trial on Saturday and it was a huge success.
"Now that's out of the way, we're holding a non-TAB meeting. We are back and it is really great for our sport in the region."
More than 30 greyhounds took part in the trial meeting, some even cracking record times.
"To be honest, it was really surprising to see so many dogs take part in the trials," Munn said.
"As a club, we are really thankful for the support of all the local trainers who came to trial their dogs.
"Without their support, who knows where we'd be."
Munn said he had received positive feedback about the track's condition from trainers and stewards.
"I think about 95 per cent of the dogs handled the track well," he said.
"The chief steward was really positive about it, so it is full steam ahead for us."
Nominations for Saturday's meeting close on Wednesday.
"With Gunnedah hosting a meeting on Sunday, I'm not too sure how many dogs we'll get," Munn said.
"I'm pretty confident we will get a good number, but we will wait and see."
