There's plenty to delight everyone's taste buds, with the Pop-Up on Fitzroy, High Tea in the Garden, Taste in the Park and famous Long Lunch.
"Ticket sales are strong and steady, we think people want to come out, celebrate and get together with their friends and family," Tamworth Regional Council events coordinator Michaela Stevens said.
"There's some great produce in the region and not just produce but the people who put it on the plate and make it delicious so we can enjoy it."
The 10-day event is expected to bring with it more than 1000 foodies from across the New England North West.

With Vietnamese and Thai food, street food, Turkish gozleme, Brazilian churro and more on offer it's pegged to be quite the multicultural smorgasbord.
Every event is perfectly paired with a local performer to provide live entertainment.
The festival is on from April 5 to April 7.
Taste in the Park - Sunday April 7
Bring your picnic rug to Tamworth's Bicentennial Park and soak up a full day of sensational food and drink. There's plenty for the kids too.
Cost: $2 entry, under 12's FREE
