State coach Mark Ireland said his charges would take a lot out of the weekend's visit.
"All of our guys had a lot of fun and it was so good to see such a large turnout from the community for the exhibition game," Ireland said.
"Unfortunately one of our two clinics was washed out, but all of our guys had a lot of fun passing on their skills to the kids who came along."
With the men's netball national championships around the corner, Ireland said the side's experience in Tamworth was "excellent preparation".
"Our team really bonded while in Tamworth," he said.
"It was a positive trip and certainly something will look to do again, hopefully annually, in the future."
