While the handicap event will run as normal from 5.45pm, the focus on women will start at 4pm, when three of the region's best known athletes take centre stage for a chat and Q&A session.
Mia Cottrell-Dormer, and mother and daughter duo Ruth and Emily Pope all fell into triathlon accidentally, and all fell in love with the sport and community and want other women to follow.

For Ruth, who currently cleans up Over 70 categories all over the state, the decision was simple.
"I was already at the events because I was taking Em to them," she said.
"Em won a bike, so I took it and we went from there.
"I love triathlon because you are mixing with people that have similar dreams of trying to keep a healthy lifestyle, but it is also very tough and very rewarding."
Ms Cottrell-Dormer has mixed it with the best on the world stage, and even used the sport to found a charity, but it is the "friendly culture and challenge" of the sport that got her hooked.
"I did a triathlon one day for fitness when I was playing oztag and got hooked," she said.
"The variety and challenge of each discipline is great, and my whole family get involved so there is a real social element as well."
Em Pope first started when she was 17 years old, and would love to see more females hitting the local circuit.
"It is not as intimidating as some people might think, and there are some wonderful role models out there," she said.
"It is also a sport that suits all levels of ability and equipment - it doesn't matter if you have an old mountain bike, or you are in a pair of footy shorts or whatever - anyone is welcome to have a crack."
Anyone is welcome to join the final event of the season, and panel discussion kicking off at 4pm at the Kootingal Pool, before the kids event starts at 5.45pm.
The presentation night and BBQ will be held at the Kootingal Hotel afterwards.
