They will compete from under-9 to under-17.
Adam Jolliffe is a senior conveyor and a coach at the club and an employee of Little Athletics NSW.
He said Tamworth Little Athletics had done "quite well" at keeping its senior athletes on the track and the field.

That was reflected, he said, in the "five or six" under-17 athletes competing this weekend.
"Normally, as you know, when kids get a little older they sort of drop away from sport," he said.

"But our older athletes - our under-15 and under-17 [competitors] - we've actually done quite well to retain a lot of our senior athletes."
The squad include javelin and discuss thrower Sami Wilkie (under-15), a multiple medallist from state championships.
She has been joined in Sydney by Liam Gordon, Hayden Ponto, Jayden New, Bridie Martin, Sarah Gill, Ellie New, Phebe McNamara, Charlie Osland, Georgia Simm, Caitlyn Etheridge, Lauren Daye, Mason Nawer, Josie Wilkie, Lily Heap, Harry Gill, Ryan Johnson, Evan Morrison, Isabel O’Connell, James Sampson, Sarah Addis, Camilla Andrews, Coben Battle and Olivia Earl.
