On the picturesque grounds of the Nundle Woolen Mill, picnic-goers will be treated to a two-course lunch featuring the region's best produce.
And this year, local fashion businesses will preview their winter fashions, Nundle Country Picnic committee member Teresa Eather said.
"The recent cold snap has started people thinking that the colder months are not far away and we will have plenty ideas to freshen up autumn and winter dressing," she said.

With boutique produce stalls, the village antiques, art, craft and homewares on offer - all funds raised support the children of the Nundle Amateur Swimming Club.
The picnic is on Sunday March 17 from midday, BYO shade and chair.
