While Cameron Wilson and Allanah Gainsford also enjoyed success on the day finishing second and third respectively in the C class competition.
Event secretary Geoff Hood said the day's action was "very competitive".
"All up we had 11 different entries from right across the region," Hood said.
"Included in those entries were cars, two tractors and two racing-lawnmowers, so you could say it was a pretty unique event.
"From a club perspective it was a very successful competition that drew visitors into Gunnedah, which is what Weeks of Speed is really all about."
The club will now focus its attention on its next Weeks of Speed showcase, the annual hill climb event on March 24.
"At this stage we have about 30 expressions of interest for the hill climb," Hood said.
"Once again their will be entrants coming from far and wide to take part, so it should be good for Gunnedah.
"This year's event will also see the Roddy Wylie Memorial Trophy awarded for the first time as well, which for us will be a really special way to honour a man who did so much for our club."
Entries for the the hill climb event close on Tuesday March 19, anyone interested in entering is urged to contact the club.
