"It's with huge sadness and lots of tears that we have had to make a very hard decision today that we have had to put Singe down. We knew from the start it wasn’t going to be a easy road with you Singe but we wanted to give you the best chance.

"Our little man you sure as hell gave us the best few weeks we had with you and we will all miss that little 'moo' of yours or being able to give you scratches that you loved so much rest in peace," the family wrote on 'Singe's Journey to Recovery' Facebook page on Friday.
Those following Singe's journey left comments on the post passing on their condolences to the family.
"Feel your pain. You and all your supporters gave him your best shot. Another very tough lesson in the world of animals we love so much," one lady wrote.
