There were several tents and gazebos to dispose of on Sunday morning but the hundreds of priceless vehicles came out unscathed.
"We dodged a bullet to look on the bright side," Kootingal Motor Club secretary Greg Offord said.
More than 1000 people came through the gates on Saturday to look at historical machinery and vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
A 1931 Chevrolet tow-truck was a crowd favourite, along with a 1951 Holden still in its original condition.
Every year the offers roll in to buy the vintage vehicles but to the owners they are priceless, Mr Offord said.
"Many hours go into the enthusiasts restoring their cars and they look magnificent," he said.

"You could offer them silly money, absolutely silly money and they wouldn't part with them.
"It's worth more to us than the dollar value on them."
The usual hot rods weren't in town this year but Mr Offord said the event was a huge success.
