The inaugural summit wrapped up at Wests Diggers on Thursday following two full days of keynote speakers and workshops, with over 140 people attending.
Tamworth Business Chamber president Jye Segboer said based on initial feedback the summit could become a permanent feature on the regional business calendar.
"We have already had plenty of emails and great feedback from people," he said.
"It has certainly started some great conversations between people and businesses and we hope to keep those going."

On Thursday, keynote speaker Lucy Bloom had the audience in the palm of her hand speaking about business owners not being afraid to fail.
"Lucy has a great backstory of learning from her failures," Mr Segboer said.
"She told people not to be too proud to ask for help, which is particularly important at the moment, not just in business, but also through drought."
Joblink Plus have also backed the summit, signing up for a three-year partnership that should see the event grow in strength and numbers.
At this stage the chamber are only looking to make minor changes to the schedule for next year's event, which include lengthening workshop times.
"It has been a really good reminder for owners and managers to step back and re-evaluate how they are doing business," Mr Segboer said.
"They all know the basics, but the summit gives an opportunity to look at it from a different perspective and perhaps with different ideas.
"It was also really goods to have the Small Business Commissioner and Jobs for NSW representatives here to remind people about the incentives and support on offer for small businesses."
Next year's summit is scheduled to be held on February 19 and 20.
