With demands on people's time only seeming to grow, and the ability to find moments in the day to take a breath rapidly evaporating, they say it's time to "press pause".
Brooke Carrington, from Myo and Barn remedial massage, and Leanne Dunstan have teamed up, bringing along a raft of local and interstate businesses to host the press pause retreat at Nundle's Dag Sheep Station in May.

Mrs Carrington said something of this ilk needed to be provided locally to address the overwhelming sense of stress taking over the town.
"I see a lot of clients on a day-to-day basis and, particularly in women and in mums, I just found the stress was enormous," she said.
"More and more people were becoming upset in massages.
"If we can do something little to reduce that, then we want to do that."
The weekend-long retreat will offer a whole gamut sessions, including pilates, massage, kinesiology, one-on-one health workshops, art classes and even a chance to throw down with Mrs Dunstan in a boxing class.
Mrs Dunstan said she got on board with the retreat because she had been "one of those really burnt-out people".
"I'd been running my business and working full-time in a high pressure job and I got to the point where I just couldn't function any longer," she said.
It drove her into a state of adrenal fatigue, which she said she could recognise in others.
"You've got so much cortisol running through our body so you're in a constant fight-or-flight mode rather than a relax and recharge mode, so your body just doesn't have chance to switch patterns," she said.
"It is very difficult to broach that subject with people because they get so used to being in that place that becomes their norm … and you're suggesting they turn their whole life upside down."
The retreat will be held from May 17-19 in Nundle, more information is available at Myo and Barn's website.
